The founders of the Dropbox, Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, was bored with transferring pictures and data using USB drives. In 2007, they gave birth to Dropbox, the cloud storage and file syncing company. The company acquired Mailbox, mobile email app and also created Camera, app for their users to share and view their pictures.
Prime investors: Accel Partners, Greylock Ventures and Benchmark Capital.
