This significant launch of Registry platform signifies the commitment of government of India to support the flourishing startup ecosystem of India.

The official statement subjected to this matter says, "The Registry will act as a one-stop database with details on all startup ecosystem stakeholders under one roof across different categories. This one-stop platform will house detailed information on all ecosystem participants, facilitating easy access and discovery”.

Also it added, “The Registry's launch has been linked with the event Startup Mahakumbh festival being organized by the startup ecosystem which aims to bring together all the stakeholders to showcase entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation”.

In addition, to strengthen the overall startup base, the Bharat Startup Ecosystem Registry highlights the diverse categories of entrepreneurs comprising those in the initial stages of inception, ideation, socially responsible firms and highly potential business companies which are no longer to fit under the term to call as a startup & so on.
