Bangalore Based Unamia Raises Seed Funds from Blume Ventures, Angel Prime

Bangalore: Bangalore based Unamia, an online brand that makes delightful international kids wear for kids has secured seed funding from Angel Prime and Blume Ventures, reports deal curry.
Founded by Jyotsna Pattabiraman, Debasis Chakraborty and Mihir Mohan, the company focuses in manufacturing world class kids wear - ‘Kid friendly’, as they call it. This would be accessible for trendy kids and choosy parents across the country.
Unamia develops deep contacts with customers through deep customer relations and targets the Rs 38,000 crore kids wear market. The kids wear market is picking up its pace with over 20 percent growth every year.
Blume Ventures is an investing company that provides seed fund for startups ranging anywhere between $50K to $250K and focuses in tech enabled startups.
Angel Prime has also played a part in this investment and Unamia had also raised angle funds from them in May 2012. It was launched by Shripati Acharya, Bala Parthasarathy and Sanjay Swamy to focus on areas including Electronic Payments, Smartphones, eCommerce & Tablet-based applications startups.
