Ashneer Grover launches Digital payment app ZeroPe with Aseem Ghavri

BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover launched one more digital payment platform ZeroPe which is focusing on medical bill payments. The digital payment app is originally developed by Delhi-based Third Unicorn, a company established by Grover and Ghavri after the former departed from BharatPe.

During the last year the firm Third Unicorn launched a real time money winning fantasy cricket app, CrickPe.

According to the description of the app given in the Google Playstore, the company has designed the app to simplify the loan process and make healthcare payments effortless.

This platform will provide financing options of up to 5 lakh for medical expenses. ZeroPe has already partnered with Delhi-based non-banking financial corporation (NBFC), Mukut Finvest, which will serve as the lending partner for the startup. The app will  provide instant pre-approved medical loans of up to 500,000 in collaboration with the help of Mukut Finvest.

Currently, similar apps like QubeHealth and SaveIn has emerged in India’s Fintech sector and they are offering instant financing solutions for medical emergencies. QubeHealth also offers similar facilities of financing medical bills and currently it is eyeing on to raise between $6-9 million in Series A funding.

During January 2023, Grover, along with his wife Madhuri Jain Grover and Chandigarh-based entrepreneur Aseem Ghavri, launched Third Unicorn. Shark tank famed Ashneer’s Third Unicorn has raised between $3.5-4 million led by ZNL Growth Fund in February last year. Aseem Ghavri, Co-founder of Third Unicorn, previously led Code Brew Labs, an enterprise app development company that designed BharatPe's initial app.
