• Automates interviews in Hindi, English, and regional languages.
• Handles 10,000+ conversations simultaneously with AI.
• Delivers instant transcripts, highlights, and shortlists for recruiters.
Jobs and career platform Apna.co has unveiled its multilingual AI Calling Agent, designed to automate interviews and cut hiring time by nearly half.
Powered by the company’s proprietary Agentic-AI stack, Blue Machines, the tool can initiate voice interviews immediately after a job is posted and handle over 10,000 conversations simultaneously in Hindi, English, and regional languages. Apna reports that the system achieves connection rates above 80%, a significant improvement over the 30% typical of manual calling. Recruiters also gain instant transcripts, audio highlights, and AI-generated candidate shortlists directly on their dashboards.
This launch comes as part of Apna’s expanding AI-driven hiring initiatives. Earlier this year, the platform rolled out AI Job Prep, a mock interview tool for candidates that has already recorded 39 lakh minutes of engagement across 7.6 lakh simulated interviews. The platform offers resume-based, role-specific practice using real interview data from over 3,000 companies, including Google, Swiggy, and Microsoft, and has gained traction among Gen Z users in both metros and tier-II cities.
“Recruiters spend countless hours chasing calls instead of connecting with qualified candidates. Our AI Calling Agent bridges this gap, bringing enterprise-grade automation to lakhs of MSMEs and enterprises across India,” said Nirmit Parikh, founder and CEO of Apna.co.
The AI Calling Agent customizes interviews for each role, scores answers instantly, and follows up via calls, WhatsApp, and email. Together with AI Job Prep, Apna is creating a faster, technology-driven recruitment ecosystem for businesses of all sizes.
