Adani 'Green Talks' Backs Five Social Impact Startups
The Adani Group, known for its rapid expansion, hosted the third 'Green Talks' event, showcasing five startup founders' concepts. This initiative serves as a platform for social entrepreneurs to refine and actualize their ideas. 'Green Talks' operates as a nonprofit global network, uniting social enterprises dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and catalyzing widespread positive change. In its 2023 edition, the program spotlighted entrepreneurs whose innovative solutions are significantly enhancing Bharat's societal well-being.
At this year's event, various startups participated, including Dveck Mobility Private Limited, which devised a device adaptable to any bicycle, instantly transforming it into an electric vehicle. Haqdarshak, a tech organization with a social impact focus, strives to simplify and render transparent access to government welfare schemes. Other startups showcased were Marut Drones, producing intelligent drones for diverse farming applications; ONergy Solar, dedicated to democratizing affordable solar solutions and PRESPL, offering eco-friendly biomass solutions.
The event was streamed live on YouTube and Adani's internal channels for its employees. Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, emphasized the significance of organizational learning today, highlighting technology immersion through startup engagement. Adani expressed the group's openness for startups to utilize their platform as a testing ground for deploying their solutions. Recognizing courage as a core value, he praised the daring endeavors of young entrepreneurs in establishing startups, emphasizing the entrepreneurial spirit as crucial for India's progress, leading to numerous unicorns in the country a spirit worth commemorating.
