fundingZippserv, India’s first real estate risk assessment platform announces Pre-Series A funding of 3 crore (around $440,000) from their existing investors – Info Edge (India) Ltd.  Zippserv is a consumer-facing online platform which provides data-driven real estate intelligence to enable smart property purchase. Info Edge India Ltd, which has also invested in Naukri, 99acres, Jeevansathi, Zomato, etc. had also invested ?2.4 crores in ZippServ earlier in the year 2016-17.

Zipserv recently expanded to other markets and launched an array of products, such as CleanProperties and PricePoint. CleanProperties provides instant access to land titles, conversion records, building approvals, liens and litigations for thousands of ongoing apartment projects. PricePoint's analytics engine tracks lakhs of recently registered sale transactions and gives granular actionable insights for buyers at a project level so that buyers get an advantage in negotiations.

Zippserv’s vision is to remove the information asymmetry that exists today and empower property buyers to make the right choice by providing accurate city planning information and affordable professional advice, thereby also making the whole property buying experience a stress free one.

Commenting on their newest development, Sudeep Anandapuram, CEO, and Co-Founder, ZippServ said: “For the past couple of months, Zippserv has been focused on making the platform more consumer friendly and technologically enabled. The team at Zippserv is working hard at bringing in trust and transparency to the real estate community through our 2 products – ‘Clean Properties’ and ‘Price Point’. Our suit of products and services give the necessary head start to property buyers and reduce their buying time by half (from 8 months to 4 months)”

The platform presently has thousands of under construction projects listed in Bangalore and this will be further expanded in the next few months. The platform lists out all the information a home buyer needs in order to begin their property search. Buyers can start their home buying journey by looking at a curated list of projects in the locality/ neighborhood where they intend to buy.

ZippServ Co-founder and COO Debashish Hota add, “We will use this funding to strengthen our technology and to aid in our expansion for customers across various markets. We are elated that our original investors Info Edge have reposed faith in our progress and this will only propel us further to achieve new heights.”
