Star Startups Awarded At Startup City 2012
Bangalore: Startup City witnessed more than 60 promising startups battling it out to lay hands on the most coveted 'Best Startup Award 2012' in four different categories read Internet, Services, Products and Mobile sector. With eminent VCs comprising the jury the competition got tougher and electrifying.
'INKONIQ', a tech based start up from Bangalore, and 'SpanIdea Systems' a product design and technology services organization won the best Start Up award for the mobile and product sector respectively. The coveted trophy for service went to 'Nudgespot' which helps increase sales on store by offering targeted promotions to visitors. 'ProudUmmah' won the best internet startup prize due to their innovative attempt to bring organization and simplicity to the pilgrimage process.
Startups were judged based on company overview, market opportunity, the team, solution value proposition, competitive positioning, growth plans, go-to-market plan, current status and investment prospects and these Startups had the it all.
