Biometric scanner at highly-secured workplaces for employees are not something unheard of, but Umanick has gone to the next level, and has built biometric access management systems for patients at hospitals. “Identity for Health”, the new system will identify patients through fingerprint readers or face-detection cameras, and is greatly believed to prevent misplaced patients at surgeries, impersonation, theft, and reduce erroneous medical records.
