Kabir Barday Named Emerging Category U.S. Entrepreneur of the Year

Indian-American CEO of Atlanta-based OneTrust Kabir Barday was announced a national winner in the Emerging category at the Ernst & Young U.S. Entrepreneur of the Year Award event.

FREMONT, CA: Ernst & Young announced its U.S. Entrepreneur of the Year Nov. 16, and while no Indian American was the winner of the overall competition, one was among the secondary winners announced at the Palm Desert, California-based event.

Founder and chief executive officer of Atlanta, Georgia-based OneTrust, Kabir Barday was named the winner in the Emerging category. A total of 11 entrepreneurs were recognized in different types. Barday is a graduate of Georgia Tech, founded OneTrust, a privacy, security and third-party risk technology platform, in 2016. Before OneTrust, he worked at VMware AirWatch and BlackRock.
