KSEB Sets Up Innovation Zone For 100 Young Entrepreneurs


Bangalore: Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) opened its innovation zone in the Kochi Startup Village to improve and standardize the energy situation by exploring various opportunities and by inventing and developing cutting edge technologies, reports HBL.

Aryadan Mohammad, Kerala’s Power Minister said that he hopes the new technology solutions that will be developed at the startup village will benefit KSEB to improve its efficiency throughout its operating areas.

The agreement between KSEB and Startup Village is for one year which was signed by M Sivasankar, KSEB Chairman and Sanjay Vijaykumar, Chairman Startup Village. The former also expressed his happiness at the facility as it provided space for over 100 young entrepreneurs to build and incubate their startup ideas.

The one year agreement gives away 2400 sq ft and will be used to train and accommodate entrepreneurs who have the skill set required to launch startups and business in the energy sector.
