IndiaCollegeSearch Raises Undisclosed Funds From IAN


Bangalore: Indian Angel Network (IAN) has induced an undisclosed amount in funding into Gurgaon-based IndiaCollegeSearch. The company intends use the procured funds to hire fresh talents and increase its operational presence. Vikram Kant Upadhyaya, Anupam Mittal and Varun Khurana led the round of investment. With this deal Vikram Kant Upadhyaya and Varun Khurana will also join IndiaCollegeSearch’s board.

IndiaCollegeSearch is owned by Am Edumedia Private Limited and is a brain child of Parul Bansal and Anirudh Motwani. IndiaCollegeSearch is a platform for students to search, filter and explore information about colleges on various parameters. It currently has over 7000 colleges affiliated to it and has more than 1 lakh admission seekers on its platform.

IndiaCollegeSearch also help students to get information in abundance about various colleges, its infrastructure, faculty and facilities etc. It had also introduced a feature where students can filter colleges based on their entrance scores. Apart from this it allows students apply directly to their favorite colleges, many students have made great use of this feature and so far, IndiaCollegeSearch has processed over 50,000 applications in 2013.
