India Accelerator Hosts the Inner Circle; Names 9 Start-ups for the Spring 2019 Program

India Accelerator, a GAN partnered, mentorship-driven, acceleration program hosted ‘The Inner Circle’ and shortlisted nine start-ups for its spring 2019 cohort. The session was attended by many eminent personalities like Rajesh Sud (ex-Vice Chairman & MD Max Life Insurance), Vikas Gujral (Director & COO, Max Bupa Health Insurance), and Manoj Dawne, a serial investor and entrepreneur, Shipra Mishra (Co-founder, Kabeela.life Ventures) and many other angel investors.

Speaking about the spring 2019 program, Mona Singh, Chief Acceleration Officer, India Accelerator, says, “In December 2018, we opened applications for spring 2019 program. We are thrilled to announce the start of the new class. Given the huge volume of applications, we selected almost double our normal class size of 5. For the new class program, we have chosen 9 start-ups from the domain of security, marketing, media and entertainment, travel, hyper-local, B2B travel and AgriTech. Similar to earlier cohorts, these incredible startups will get access to the best of offerings -- including mentorship from industry experts, free support, cloud credits, and more. These startups will undergo an intensive 16-weeks mentorship boot camp in March, followed by more engagements in April and May. During the course of the program, the startups will receive insights and support on advanced technologies such as ML, in-depth design sprints for specifically identified challenges, guidance on focused tech projects, networking opportunities at industry events, and much more”.

An intensive 4-month innovation ‘boot camp’ based program, where startups are offered with technology, business services and incubation space, along with intense individual mentoring focused on the product and business development. The nine startups will receive up to 30-35 lakhs in cash, perks and services, to follow-up funding after the Demo Day. It works intensively to help build teams find a product-market fit and chalk out market-specific growth strategies. The startups which have been shortlisted for the Spring 2019 Program are: Servizing, Senpiper, All About Bollywood.in, SearchBar.AI, GigZo, HumHain, Charitism, TheKrishi.com and Rylah.

Founded in 2017, India Accelerator is a reputed mentorship driven accelerator program which helps the start-ups during their initial phase and builds them a business model. It also provides co-working space as a separate LOB to help promote community building & collaboration among the Start-up ecosystem by bringing like-minded passionate people together.
