Google's Eric Schmidt To Motivate Indian Startups


Bangalore: In his two day visit to India, Eric Schmidt, Google’s Executive Chairman made a pitstop in Bangalore to give management tips to start-up entrepreneurs.  This initiative is organized by NASSCOM for startup initiatives and Som Mittal, President of NASSCOM would be the moderator in this event, reports TOI.

Interestingly, NASSCOM in its facebook page had promoted the event on a large scale by prompting startup entrepreneurs and businessmen to post questions for Schmidt. In the meanwhile, country’s popular incubator – Kochi Startup Village also initiated certain marketing strategies to promote Schmidt’s visit and it also conducted a similar campaign by urging entrepreneurs to ask questions. 

With this visit Schmidt also plans to enhance entrepreneurship and the startup eco system in India. The event is held in Delhi and 3 startups – Mobstac, Ezetap and Practo will share the dais along with Schmidt.
