Google, Facebook Visit Startup Village To Support Young Entrepreneurs

BANGALORE: ‘To achieve success you need to start first and to become a big name you need to set up a Startup first.’ A pure and perfect example for the same is the Startup village in Kalamasserry, Startup Villagethe potential of this startup can be measured by the extent that the biggest names in tech like Microsoft, Facebook and Google have visited the Startup village in Kalamasserry recently.

Google India managing director Rajan Anandan, Facebook country head Kirthiga Reddy, LinkedIn country head Nishant Rao, Microsoft consumer channel group head G Chakrapani, IAMAI President Subho Ray and Manorama Online COO Mariam Mathew were part of the designation that intermingled with the firms.

The big techies believed that if such Startups are promoted and guided at an appropriate level, it can provide cash-strapped entrepreneurs an ecosystem to nurture if they have the intelligence and courage to pursue their goals.

According to Rajan Anandan, “This is an amazing place and we really need to appreciate the effort that has gone into creating such an incubation facility. This model should be replicated in all other states. The talent, ambition and confidence of these youngsters are impressive,” reports “Google currently provided services worth $25,000 per startup as support and the same will be made available to firms at Startup village. There are plans to offer more in the coming days,” added Anandan.

Startups are not only the future of Indian economy but it also motivates Indian entrepreneurs to show their talent and skills at an international level.
