Facebook's Co-Founder Is Shelling Billions on Asian Startups
Bangalore: Eduardo Saverin the billionaire from the Facebook fame is now fanning the Asian startups with his fortune while keeping a low profile in Singapore. A Brazilian by origin, Eduardo renounced his US Visa to avoid paying capital income tax earned from his website ‘Who Owns Facebook?” that is estimated at a whooping $3.4 Billion and states that he holds four percent stakes at Facebook, reported Economic Times.
Perx, a Singapore based startup has benefited from the investments by Eduardo. Andrew Roth, one of the co-founders of the company says that Eduardo has advised on the development of Perx’s iPhone app. "He is increasingly getting more involved on the product side and with his world view and knowledge about the region, he has offered us valuable feedback on how to improve," says Andrew.
