Don’t try to impress

The key rule for an entrepreneur is that he must not do anything in his startup to impress an entrepreneur. Few entrepreneurs might think that if certain elements are added to the startup it might impress a VC but this is a wrong notion.  The first and foremost thing that an entrepreneur must learn is that he must not let his startup evolve around a VC but the VC must be evolving around the startup and for that he must only focus on the development of his product.

Do not try out many things

As mentioned in the earlier points; an entrepreneur is an innovator who brings in ideas to develop his product. He must ensure that the startup doesn’t lose its focus by doing many things at the same time. His primary focus should be towards the mission of the startup and must not diversify a bit, because his strong will and determination to achieve a pre planned goal would impress any smart investor.
