Bangalore: Dineout.co.in, an online restaurant booking website has raised funding over Rs 60 lakhs from the founders of travel boutique online, Ankush Nijhawan and Gaurav Bhatnagar. These funds would be utilized by the company in developing mobile applications, marketing products and to grow the back end technologies, reports medianama.com.

Incorporated in February 2012, the company website accepts booking in Delhi/NCR region and has tied up with over 175 restaurants. It not only lets a person to book or reserve online but also provides the services over a mobile phone. Apart from booking reservations, the website also offers great discounts and offers to its customers.

Dineout.co.in also plans to enter the south Indian market by targeting places like Bangalore. It also plans to launch a completely new vertical in the banquet space for the party which would be specifically for wedding parties and corporates.

There are also few other websites in the same genre like Tablewalla.com, serving only the regions of Delhi and Mumbai. JustEat is another website which operates in the same manner but has expanded its business gradually to Mumbai and Bangalore and has over 750 restaurant tie ups.
