BANGALORE: 2014 has struck gold for savoring some of the greatest technological accomplishments in the country. When the well acclaimed Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) landed successfully a spacecraft on planet Mars, no sooner did the country leaped for joy and jubilation reports Economic times.

The ISRO received immense glorification on its first attempt for just a tiny proportion of its actual cost. The ISRO's Mars Orbiter has not only played a significant role but has also contributed vastly to the technology in the country.

However, what is slipped under the table is that a noteworthy group of our small and medium technology companies from across the country, played a major role in the technology that led to this achievement.

With the dawn of 2015 at hand, we embark on the 15 most promising startups set to illuminate the New Year.

Some startups are directing their projects to land on the moon while other startups will be making available eco friendly sanitary pads.  Also, the new generation, Indian entrepreneurs are brainstorming solutions to rid society of it various predicaments.

Team Indus

Team Indus doesn’t fit in with the conventional startups. Known being unorthodox in dauntless planning, they are India’s only entry for the Google Lunar XPRIZE, the worldwide competition to land a robotic spacecraft on the Moon. The Indian team was bodied by a former Air Force pilot, a management guru, a branding expert, a consecutive entrepreneur and an aerospace engineer.

Team Indus have their sleeves pulled back and hands  deep on building capabilities for potential effectiveness to produce a swift turnaround, full spectrum services for Aerospace functioning  to universal customers. Furthermore, Team Indus is also building technologies to facilitate a smooth landing on the Moon by 2016.They will be competing for the Imaging Prize.
