Bangalore: At the time of starting up, costs of setting up an office can be a major hurdle for entrepreneurs. But nowadays startups are finding rent-free workspaces. There are accelerators which offer this facility to startups, generally in exchange for equity. But today entrepreneurs are finding other types of free space available.
Here are three types of workspaces that entrepreneurs can get for free:

1. Community-Sponsored Space
To encourage economic development, chambers of commerce in some cities provide free office space with the help of local government and businesses. These programs require entrepreneurs to submit a business concept and show its growth potential.
Having physical office space is extremely legitimizing. Meeting with accountants and other business people in the free office space rather than at home makes a big difference." Startups are also encouraged to participate in group events.

2. Co-working Space
Co-working spaces offer an office-likeatmosphere free of charge to entrepreneurs, mostly single founders who would otherwise be working from their homes.
