THE AMOUNT OF NEW PLATFORMS AND TECHNOLOGIES IS STAGGERING

Most of the platforms that exist today weren't around 36-48 months ago. Mobile was owned by the carriers and MySpace was still somewhat dominant. The tools now available to build new companies upon are truly remarkable. The more new technologies and platforms that become available, the more companies that can be built over time.

FINDING OUT WHETHER YOU ARE RIGHT TAKES FAR LESS RISK

It used to take many months and lots of capital to find out whether you were going right. That just is not true anymore. You can find out if you are right in less than 60 days. If you are right keep going. If you are wrong, pivot a bit, and move on to the next thing. You should not fear failure, but embrace the process that comes with it.
