The startup Altaeros Energies is following the mission to deploy world’s first commercial airborne wind turbine. This Boston-based startup was founded in 2010 at the MIT. The company raised $7 million in the December from Japan’ s SoftBank. The company received funding from RatanTata early in 2014.
