Young Guns To Watch Out For At The UEFA Euro Championship, 2016

BENGALURU: Football is considered to be one of the most followed sports in the world. Be it domestic competitions or International tournaments, the interest level of fans is sky high. With the ‘Copa America’ and ‘UEFA European Championships’ underway, football fans across the world are being treated with great entertainment. The European championship is heading towards its business end of the tournament with the ‘Round of 16’ stage starting on June 25. Samuel Umtiti

The 22 year old player, Samuel Umtiti is one of the players to watch out for in the French defense line. Umtiti made entry into the squad for the European championship when an injury ruled out veteran defender Jeremy Mathieu. The 5 ft 11 inches defender, has come through the ranks of Olympique Lyon, with whom he had an awesome 2015-16 Lique 1 season. Composed with the ball at his feet and superb in the air, this youngster could play an important role in France winning the coveted trophy. His growing reputation can be gauged from the fact that there are speculations of him joining Barcelona for the next season.
