IPL 2025: LSG Aim for Fourth Win on the Trot as Struggling CSK Look for Revival
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2025 Match 30 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday, April 14. LSG, with momentum in their favor, will hope to carry their winning momentum further, while CSK will desperately hope for a change of fortunes.
In spite of Rishabh Pant's low-key batting, his captaincy has been accurate. After losing two of their first three games, LSG bounced back in style with three consecutive victories. Their latest was against Gujarat Titans, where they chased down 181 with six wickets in hand and three balls remaining.
CSK, by contrast, are in crisis. Having made a strong beginning against Mumbai Indians, they've lost five consecutive games their record IPL losing sequence. Not even MS Dhoni's return to the captaincy could stem the decline, CSK being dismissed for 103 and beaten heavily by eight against KKR, who chased the target in a mere 10.1 overs.
Historically, LSG have an advantage, taking three of the five matches prior. One was a no-result match, and CSK have only won one.
