CSK Clinch 5-Wicket Win Over LSG in Thrilling IPL 2025 Encounter
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered a thrilling five-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in an IPL 2025 match, chasing down a target of 167 runs in 19.3 overs in a crowded stadium.
Batting first, LSG scored 166/7, with skipper Rishabh Pant holding the innings together with a good 63 off 49 balls. He was ably supported by Mitchell Marsh (30), Ayush Badoni (22), and Abdul Samad (20), but the CSK bowlers were tight. MS Dhoni then took it back to the old days, playing a fiery 26* off just 11 balls to lead CSK home with three balls remaining.
Despite diligent bowling efforts by Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, and Aiden Markram, LSG were unable to stem the tide of CSK. The win further establishes CSK's dominant position in the tournament, displaying their depth and calm under pressure.
