IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants Set for Tough Test Against Gujarat Titans

IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants Set for Tough Test Against Gujarat Titans
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) would be searching for their third successive win when they face table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) in the afternoon match of the double-header at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday.
LSG are coming off victories at home against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens and would have their tail up. But LSG won't find it easy against GT who are at the top of the points table with their four successive wins.
Even though they have lost two pace options to injury, LSG have done well as their top-order hitters have been in good form.
GT have a batting depth which enables them to carry on with the fearless attitude they have adopted in their games. Up until now, their bowling has also been doing very well.
Gujarat is favored to win this game due to their recent form, despite LSG having the home team advantage.
The Ekana Cricket Stadium's pitch, similar to most Indian pitches, will be batting-friendly despite not being very good. But during the middle overs, Ekana slows down pace, which puts the spinners at risk.
As there is no chance of rain and the weather in Lucknow is expected to be hot and humid, a full match can be anticipated.
LSG vs GT, IPL 2025: Head-to-Head
