ICC Reveals Dynamic Logo for 2024 T20 World Cups
The ICC has introduced an energetic redesign of the brand identity for the ICC T20 World Cup. Renowned for its fast-paced action and thrilling moments, the new design effectively captures the emotion inherent in every ball delivered in Twenty20 cricket. The relentless dynamism of the genre is vividly expressed through the updated graphic identity. This brand concept seamlessly incorporates textures and patterns inspired by the host nation of each edition of the World Cup.
A specific design element draws inspiration from the palm trees of the West Indies and the "stripes" associated with the United States, the hosts of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The logo symbolizes the fundamental elements of Twenty20 cricket, creatively blending the bat, ball, and energy. The T20 logo undergoes a dynamic transformation, morphing into a swinging bat encased within a lively ball.
"The ICC Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups promise to deliver an electrifying and edge-of-your-seat experience to cricket fans globally, and we hope the new visual identity reflects that vision and energy", said Claire Furlong, the ICC General Manager Marketing and Communications.
"The incorporation of the distinctive patterns in the brand will provide hosts with a unique element across the event’s look and feel. "We have an exciting six months ahead of us building up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA, and fans can now register their interest to receive World Cup information and ticket news".The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in the West Indies and USA from 4 to 30 June 2024.
