Deepa Malik is epitomizes the fact that you can achieve anything with determination and grit. She won silver medal in women’s shot put F53 event in the Rio Paralympics with a throw of 4.61m. She overcame her physical disability and became the country’s first female and oldest athlete to win a medal in the event.
