Adani Group Enters Indian Golf with Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025
The Adani Group is all geared up to make its entry into Indian professional golf with the introduction of the Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025 in association with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the official sanctioning tour of men's professional golf in India.
“This Adani Group initiative intends to promote and broaden golf’s accessibility and elevate its status as a mainstream sport, and also to cultivate the next generation of global champions from India”, a company statement said.
The inaugural tournament, offering a Rs 1.5 crore prize, will be held at Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort, Greater Noida, from April 1-4, 2025, marking PGTI’s return to the venue after 11 years.

Kapil Dev, the President of the PGTI, stated the support of the Adani Group will enable the PGTI to develop more champion golfers from India who will bring glory to the country on the world stage.

Referring to the Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025 as a turning point for the PGTI, its CEO Amandeep Johl stated, "This tie-up will enhance the profile of the Tour. With a lucrative prize purse, excellent playing conditions at the Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort and a strong field competing for the title, one can look forward to a thrilling week of golfing action at the highly anticipated Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025.
A pre-tournament function will take place on March 29 at The Belvedere Golf & Country Club, Ahmedabad. In addition to this function, five top PGTI professionals will organize a golf clinic that will introduce the game to 50 students from The Adani International School.
Cricket great Kapil Dev, the current President of PGTI, will attend this event to underscore the common vision of the Adani Group and PGTI to nurture golfing talent and promote Indian golf.
