Scoring 112 goals and marking 32 assists throughout his career in the competition, this Argentinean Ballon d’Or still tops the list despite being 32 years old.

Last week, Messi grabbed the award for UEFA’s Best Forward at the special gala ceremony in Monaco for his amazing display last year. This year, Messi will play alongside the summer signings of Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong with an aim to lift the trophy once again after their win in the 2014/15 season.
