Zomato's Co-Founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, has announced India's first crowd-supported weather infrastructure, weatherunion.com. This proprietary network features over 650 on-ground weather stations providing localized, real-time data on key weather parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, and rainfall.
Initially available across 45 cities, the network aims to expand to other cities soon. Goyal emphasized the importance of precise and real-time weather information for making sound business decisions at Zomato, inspiring the development of this comprehensive weather solution.
