The culinary school dropout has total earning of $13 million and has the vast empire of Italian cuisines from New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles to Singapore. He owns 13 restaurants and has authored nine books till date. The GQ Magazine awarded him the "Man of the Year" in the chef category and he also bagged the D'Artagnan Cervena "Who's Who of Food & Beverage in America" which is the lifetime achievement award in food industry. He is on the board of directors for The Lunchbox Fund, Soweto of South Africa which provides meal to students of a school. The Mario Batali Foundation works with the mission of protecting, feeding and educating children.

Being sixth among top ten chefs with $12 million, this French chef reigns with 22 restaurants from Tokyo to Paris. "Savoir-faire, faire-faire et faire-savoir" is his motto, which means expertise, to-do and know-how. He is renowned for his writing and influence and enjoys spreading knowledge through his network of hotels. He also has a Parisian cooking school one for the general public and the other for the chefs.
