In March, Mercedes-Benz will be launching the heir to its bellwether SLS AMG with AMG GT in India. The AMG GT carriers the slightly similar face of its older sibling. Under the skin it is a new car with a 4.0 liter V8 bi-turbo engine capable of hitting speeds of more than 300kmph.

Nissan’s focus has turned towards compact SUV for India; Nissan retailed 2 million units of Qashqai in UK since its launch in late 2006. Keeping that in mind, Nissan has planned to launch Qashqai, as of now, Nissan only offers the Terrano compact SUV and to increase its footprint in the growing SUV market in the country.
The Japanese manufacturers are looking forward to launch Qashqai SUV in March and it will be based on the same platform as the X-trail, but with the lesser pricing than it.
