Tata Play Binge has announced the integration of WAVES, the OTT platform operated by public broadcaster Prasar Bharati, further enhancing its expansive digital entertainment offering. With this collaboration, Tata Play Binge now provides access to over 20,000 hours of culturally rich and diverse content in 12 Indian languages, catering to audiences across generations and geographies.
The addition of WAVES introduces an extensive library of classic and contemporary shows to the Tata Play Binge platform. Viewers can now enjoy iconic series such as Byomkesh Bakshi, Fauji, Hum Log, Buniyaad, and Circus, along with modern programming like Sarpanch Sahab, Jaiye Aap Kahan Jayenge, and Della Bella. The platform also includes exclusive live streaming of national interest events like Prabhu Shriram Lalla Aarti from Ayodhya and Mann Ki Baat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as sports broadcasts including the Kabaddi World Cup, DFB-Pokal (German football tournament), and the Hockey India League.
WAVES offers a hybrid model combining over 35 live TV channels with the convenience of on-demand content, preserving the essence of public service broadcasting while embracing the possibilities of modern streaming. This partnership positions Tata Play Binge as the first platform to digitally distribute Prasar Bharati’s content through a unified, subscription-based model.
