Expressways are the top class roads in the Indian road network. The best express highway is present in Ahmedabad, known as Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway. This expressway is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Expressway. This 95km long highway shortens the distance between Ahmedabad and Vadodara. It is constructed under the Golden Quadrilateral Project by NHAI in 2004.
