2. Chembra trek
This trek to the Chembra peak can transport you to a different world. Sited at a height of 2100 meters this is the highest peak in Wayanad. Trekkers need to take permission from Meppady forest office before going for the trek. Overnight camping is not allowed at Chembra peak. The pleasant weather makes this destination an all year round attraction but its best to avoid rainy seasons as the trek can get slippery. The biggest attraction of this trek is a beautiful and unique heart shaped lake called “hridhayathadakam”.
