New Mahindra NuvoSport - SUV With Sporty Look


BENGALURU: Mahindra has launched the third product in the sub-compact SUV category, NuvoSport. The car is the replacement for Mahindra Quanto that failed to establish itself in the global market. Designed to match the active lifestyle of growing millennials, Mahindra NuvoSport comes equipped with multiple upgrades in terms of design and features. The car is available in 6 variants across India, with the price range starting from 7.35 lakh. The NuvoSport is available in 6 colors namely molten red, rust orange, diamond white, regal blue, mist silver and fiery black.

Under the hood, the Nuvo Sport is powered by a 3- cylinder, 1.5 litre mHawk diesel engine which churns out about 100 bhp of power and 240 Nm of torque at 1600-2800rpm. With a promised fuel efficiency of 17.45kmpl, NuvoSport comes with a sporty look featuring a contracted grille, bigger airdam, new headlights, revised bumper, fog lamps and a silver skid plate.

Compared to Quanto, the new model—NuvoSport has an enhanced look which looks similar to the Xylo. The exclusive design of the LED DRLs, which sits autonomously above the headlights, gives the car a stand-out athletic look.

The car is available in 5+2 seating capacity with flexible and reclining second row seats in new colors. The high-end variants of NuvoSport are fitted with a 2-DIN infotainment system along with 8-way adjustable seats that offer lumbar support and many other luxury features. From the safety perspective, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and dual airbags are available in the base model variants as an option.
