As of the reports, the S-Cross will be offered in two diesel options – a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 that churns out 90.2 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque and other being the powerful 1.6-litre DDiS 320 engine that will give out out 119.6 PS and 320 Nm of torque. Both the transmissions will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed manual gearbox respectively. Overall the company will be offering the all-new S-Cross in eight different variants that are categorized under two models namely DDiS 200 and DDiS 320.  

As of now the S-Cross will only come in FWD option, but the good news is that Maruti Suzuki will bring in the AWD variant later this year. In India the S-Cross rival against the likes of Ford Ecosport, Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Hyundai’s upcoming compact SUV Creta.
