Knowing the Unknown: The Grumpy Cat
‘Grumpy Cat’ is just a stage name, the cat’s real name is ‘Tardar Sauce’, which was named by Chrystal Bundesen, (the owner Tabatha Bundesen’s daughter). She says the name was given because of Grumpy’s original orangeish color (looks like Tartar Sauce). Remarkably, the cat will also answer to ‘Grumpy’, even though it’s not the name given to it. The popular look of the Grumpy Cat is because of the feline dwarfism and an underbite claims Tabatha. Grumpy Cat became famous when Bryan (Tabatha’s brother) posted a photo of her with the cat on Reddit in September 2012.
