Get Set 'Fiat Avventura Urban Cross' to Come in Q3

According to the economics times, the joint venture of Tata and Fiat assembly line in Ranjangaon will benefit the production of Urban Cross. Developing 210 Nm of torque, the crossover will closely rival the Hyundai and the Honda models, both of which use naturally-aspirated petrol engines with variable valve timing.

Urban Cross concept is designed in such a way that it will tempt any customer to drive all weekdays and weekends with extreme rejoice. The Italian auto giant claims that it makes drive a thrilling experience without compromising the dynamic presence on city roads.

The Urban Cross concept made Avventura—with the curvier stance and enchanting looks alongside detailed designing of the front fascia—take the current generation into an ultimate future. It is fitted with a silver-lined prominent front grille, metallic skid plates, chrome-covered fog lamp enclosures, and LED head lamps, which stretches from the crown of the cluster to the very end.

Fiat Avventure, with the overall good finish product, has tough competitions against Hyundai Active, Volkswagen Cross, Etios Cross, and Ford EcoSport in the crossover category. Urban Cross is priced from 6.57 Lakhs to 9.95 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

"We have three pillars of strategy in India. My first job was to get a hold of the business. We have worked really hard with our dealers on the infrastructure and the commercial arrangements with us and how we can make sure they are more stable," said Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA APAC. The first step out it will be the ‘Made in India Jeep’ that will be rolled out next year. “Every segment and what works within that segment has already been mapped from the inputs of the dealer network and has been incorporated to put up a strategy of product,” adds Flynn. Fiat has already set aside $280 million to upgrade its Ranjangaon plant.
