6. St Mary's Island

St Mary’s Island is also known as Thonsepar and Coconut Island. This comprises of four islands in the Arabian Sea off the Malpe coast in Udupi, Karnataka. This island is an interesting place because of its distinctive geographical and geological importance. It has a beach with a difference that means the west side is filled with sea shells not from the sand and the water is crystal clear while the east side of it is deep and consists of sand and black pebbles.

7. Netrani Island

Netrani is a coral island in the Arabian Sea, located at the coast of Karnataka and about 19 km away from Murudeshwara. This island appears as a heart-shaped when viewed from above. It has facilities for scuba diving and various other water sports. There are lots of varieties of shrimps, triggerfish, butterfly fish, parrot fish, eels, and corals that can be seen here. A study reported that about eighty-nine species of coral fish are found in this area, which makes it a paradise for aquatic explorers.
