Fujifilm India Unveils Brand Film on Tech-Enabled Healthcare in Remote Spiti
  • Fujifilm India releases a new brand film showcasing remote healthcare impact in Spiti Valley
  • The film highlights the ‘Care on Wheels’ initiative delivering screenings to underserved regions
  • Real-life stories show how technology and compassion improve access to quality care

Fujifilm India has launched its latest brand film, Healthcare Technology that Transcends, as part of its ongoing Stories of More Smiles series. Set in the remote and rugged landscapes of Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, the film captures how modern healthcare technology and committed healthcare workers are transforming access to medical services in some of India’s toughest terrains.

The film, shot across Key Monastery and Langza Village, follows Rohini, a healthcare worker who travels through snow-covered mountains to reach patients with essential medical care. Directed by Kshiteej Dua and produced by BAD Studio Productions LLP, the three-day shoot involved a 50-member crew. The narrative centers on the work of the Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation, which runs mobile medical camps under Fujifilm India’s Care on Wheels sustainability initiative. These camps have provided blood chemistry tests and other key health screenings to more than 15,000 people in Himachal Pradesh, especially in areas with limited access to hospitals.

Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India, said the film reflects the company’s belief that innovation can serve as a 'bridge of hope', strengthening access to healthcare in remote regions. Abhi Shekhar Singh, Vertical Head - Corporate Communications and CSR, added that the film draws inspiration from real-life resilience seen during the Care on Wheels program and aims to motivate the healthcare community.
