New York Fashion Week

It was in 1993, New York Fashion Week started its venture and it is believed that the economic impact of the event is estimated at $887 million. However, this year’s Fall/Winter week took place on February 6-13 and for the first time a transgender designer named Pierre Davis showed at NYFW. Pierre’s label created a world of fashion and art inclusive of LGBTQ and ethnic identities. The city has over 5,000 fashion showrooms and hosts major fashion trade shows such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The spring/summer season event will take places from 6th September till 11th September at Spring Studios, 50 Varick Street, New York.
