Blaupunkt introduces two new TV models ahead of the holiday season
In partnership with online retailer Flipkart, Blaupunkt, has introduced its newest entry into the television market, which is a 43-inch QLED & 55-inch 4K Google TV. The newly launched TVs start at a price of Rs 28,999, while the 55-inch Google TV model is available at 34,999. The sale of Blaupunkt's 55 and 65-inch TVs has seen an astounding 300% jump in sales over the last year.
The launch, in exclusive collaboration with Flipkart, took place. Shoppers will get a 10% instant discount when using ICICI, Kotak, and Axis Bank Cards. The brand's commitment to delivering exceptional sound quality sets it apart from the competition, said the company. “The integrated sound systems, featuring the revolutionary TruSurround Sound technology and an awe-inspiring 60W speaker system, create immersive soundscapes that breathe life into your content.”
The all-new Blaupunkt 43-inch QLED TV boasts 1.1 billion colors on a QLED 4K display with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support and has Dolby-certified audio featuring Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus. It can connect with Bluetooth 5.0 and Dual-Band Wi-Fi, and the Google Assistant-powered remote simplifies navigation. “At Blaupunkt India, we are relentlessly committed to using powerful and cutting-edge technology to improve the lives of our consumers. These state-of-the-art televisions underscore our dedication to offering cutting-edge technology and an immersive viewing experience,” said Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of SPPL.
India's rising income and aspirations are likely to drive out the smaller televisions soon from the market. Super Plastronics' 68%-71% TV sales are now skewed towards the one with at least 40 inches size. The highest selling size at the moment is 55, followed by 43, 50, and 65-inch TVs, Marwah said. Delhi NCR is one of the most densely penetrated states for television in India after Goa where largest screen size is the most selling size right now, Super Plastronics’ Marwah said. In eastern India, West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, and Bihar are rapidly shifting from 24 or 32 inches to 40 inches TVs.
