Soup is one of the main starters in Asian cuisine. It is a liquid food, generally served warm and is made by combining ingredients such as meat and vegetables and their stock. Traditionally, soups are classified into two main groups: clear soups and thick soups. Noodles are also served in the soup bowl. Some of the commonly consumed soups are the Wonton soup popular in Thailand, Hot and sour soup is a Chinese vinegar based soup and Sweet corn is another popular soup which is made of thick starch based corn soup.
