Priced at 24.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the car is pitted against the likes of Mercedes-Benz A-Class, the BMW 1 Series and the Mini Cooper 5 Door in its segment. Overview

As it’s described ‘Small Volvo tons of character’ the car is designed in such a way that it will delight your everyday drive as well as make it special for a road trip or a weekend getaway. The Volvo V40 is offered in two trims- the V40 Kinetic priced at 24.75 lakh and the V40 R-Design priced at 27.7 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).  Both the variants carry the same 2.0-litre turbo-charged diesel engine that power out 148bhp and 350Nm torque with six-speed automatic gearbox.

The V40 Kinetic Variant gets features like climate control system, auto bending headlights, panoramic roof, adaptive digital display console and it’s more elegant whereas the R-Design is enhanced with sportier design and equipped for better handling, power and excitement.

The 2015 variants have been added with several new features that include, Adaptive digital display, powered front seats, leather seats, dual zone climate control, parking sensors, key-less drive, park assist ,ain sensing wipers, ABS, airbags (front, side and curtain), alloy wheels and panoramic roof.

The added features are certainly top of the line and upmarket whereas its safety and support systems are taken from its larger models that make the product ahead of competition against its rivals.
