Triumph Lauches New On And Off-Road Tiger 800 XCA In India

sdBENGALURU: Triumph Motorcycles has launched the XCA variant of the Tiger 800 at Rs 13.75 lakh. This is the top of the line variant and will join the other line-up consisting of the Tiger 800 XR, 800 XRx, 800 XC and the 800 XCx, according to overdrive.in.

Just by the looks of the bike, one can tell that this is a highly capable off-road motorcycle range that has been launched in the country. Adding this variant to the outgoing range of Adventure bikes, we can say that this category in India will take the adventure sports a level further. This off-roader features a larger capacity 650-watt alternator that is used to power the heated rider and pillion seats, heated grips, and LED fog lights offered as standard.

Along with this, it also powers other devices such as the GPS system and the heated clothing. The bike also comes equipped with the fitment of pannier rails for the optional Triumph Expedition aluminum pannier system. As far as the engine specs goes, the Tiger 800 XCA is powered by a 95 bhp, 79Nm of torque with a liquid-cooled 800cc monster engine with in-line three cylinder engines mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Tiger 800 XCA’s shifter mechanism has been taken from Daytona and this gives the motorcycle faster shifts without any power loss during the shifts. The motorcycle also gets switchable ABS, cruise control, four traction modes and a ride-by-wire throttle and Showa suspension setup for a better ride quality.
