Opened in 1986, the restaurant, El Celler Can Roca, founded by Roca Brothers- Joan, Josep and Jordi is on top of the top list according to the annual fine dining ceremony held in London's Guildhall this month. The magazine “Restaurant” has ranked it the first position this year. With Joseph, the elder brother as the head chef, the restaurant prepares authentic Catalan cuisine or modern Spanish cuisine. Along with tempting flavors, the highly qualified chef team is known for their food décor with bonsai trees, olives, spring onion, coconut and mint. The younger brothers-Joseph is the head sommelier, and Jordi is the chief pastry chef.

Serving modernist food based on Italian style, this restaurant was declared the second place in the global restaurant contest. The three star restaurant in the north of Modena city of Italy is run by its owner chef Massimo Battura. He is also associated with art, music, literature and pop culture. He considers his kitchen to be ‘Traditional seen from ten miles away'.
