The Next-Gen Nissan Micra To Hit The Headlines


While the company confirmed that the production of new Micra at the Renault plant located in Flins, France will start by the end of 2016, the AMEI (Asia, Middle East and India) region are reported to get a different Micra that may continue the V-platform trend. The Renault-Nissan's Alliance facility in Oragadam near Chennai, India will produce the 5th gen Micra for the AMEI markets.​ 

The 4th generation Micra available in the market comes with Displacement  of 1198 cc with a maximum power of 75 bhp @ 6000 RPM in the petrol segment. The diesel variant offers Displacement     up to 1461 cc with a maximum power of 65 bhp @ 4000 RPM. Both variants come with optional power windows, keyless entry and automatic or manual gear box. The higher options also offer ABS and airbags for the front rows.

The Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer, Nissan has made a notable achievement in the hatchback car segments with the Micra with interesting features and unique design. The new model is also expected to mark another success story in the market for the company.
