Situated on the Brahmagiri hill near Bhagamandala, Talakaveri is a perfect destination for people searching for serenity away from the metropolitan chaos. Known as the birthplace of the river Kaveri, it lies about 48 kms away from Madikeri and 8 kms from Bhagamandala. Temples occupy a major part of Talakaveri; attracting pilgrims from across the country. A temple dedicated to Lord Agastheeswara happens to be the main attraction of the place.
